We are NOT contracted with any Anthem/Blue Cross plan. We are a member of Hills Physicians' Group and the Chinese Community Health Plan. Dr. Kmucha has appeared on many occasions on KRON 4 television and KGO radio. In April 2010, Dr. Kmucha and his staff were chosen as one of the "Best in the Bay" by a poll of the KRON 4 viewers.
Dr. Kmucha, a member of the Board of Governors of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, was appointed to the AAO-HNS BOG Rules and Regulations Committee in February 2006 and served a two year term; in 2008, he was appointed to the BOG Public Relations Committee for a two year term.
In January 2006, Dr. Kmucha was chosen as the only physician member of the 9 county San Francisco Bay Area Air Quality Management District Advisory Council.
Dr. Kmucha continues as a consultant to the California Medical Association (CMA) Committee on Quality Care thru 2010; he also serves on CMA's Council on Legislation thru 2010. He continues as a consultant to the Medical Board of California. He also continues as an instructor at Stanford University in the Division of Otolaryngology.
In 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009, Dr. Kmucha was recognized by the American Academy of Otolaryngology as an outstanding leader in his specialty. |
